CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGIST; (theoretical orientation for theories of consciousness; medical anthropology and cultural ecology; specialization in cross-cultural studies, state formation and the History of ideas; theories of Culture) FROM THE GRADUATE FACULTY OF THE NEW SCHOOL IN THE 1980s worked as a PhD research assistant for that department. He taught 5 years at 12th st, New School and left city life in 1990 to raise his family upstate New York. He currently is doing independent research on contemporary issues.
