Our guest this week is Camilla Calhoun, author, gallery owner, founder of Great Hudson River Paddle, and Master of Environmental Studies at NYU. Camilla, a true Renaissance woman and a native of Ulster County, lived on a farm villa in Tuscany for 4 years, the setting for her book, "The White Moth." The White Moth is a portrait of life in Tuscany from the fascism and foreign occupation of the 1930s to the idyllic 1970s. A generational saga of longing, loss and displacement, the book is also Camilla’s tribute to her Italian mother-in-law, Alda. Your hosts this week are Linda Saccoman and Nick J Alba.
