Hosted by Helene

An eclectic evening, including a mix of music from (now) local singer-songwriters Emily King and CALLmeKAT; a reading of At the Fishhouses by poet Elizabeth Bishop; and reflections on how we might make new kinds of New Year’s Resolutions if we wanted to get better at really listening to people to build stronger connections, inspired by the new book from David Brooks How to Know A Person: the Art of Seeing Other Deeply and Being Deeply Seen and what the practices of Just Transition can bring us.

Helene is now a Worker Trustee at the Good Work Institute, and spent decades before that immersed in contemporary music, art, dance, puppetry, and sometimes, poetry.
