Hosted by Helene and Micah

We first get into the definition of conceptual art and discuss some of our favorite beloved examples, before diving into a conversation with Beth Humphrey about her own art practice and upcoming shows, and how imagination is an essential part of the needed change we are all working towards.

Beth Humphrey is an artist and educator, with upcoming shows at Unison Arts in New Paltz, Lake George Art Project in Lake George, and Deep Dive Art Projects in Cleveland NY. She is also the Director of Education and Public Programs at WAAM, the Woodstock Artists Association and Museum, and works as the PUGG advisor at the DRAW Kingston, an arts-based workforce development program for teens. Beth was also a Good Work Institute Fellow, and was a participating visual artist in NYFA’s MARK Program. GWI commissioned Beth to make a visual art piece as part of the opening of the Greenhouse, our hub in Kingston, is exhibited there - we are so grateful to have it grace our walls!
