Today in La Voz is Wednesday of education and family.

There is a campaign to pass a law that takes ICE out of the courts of the state of New York. We talked with José Chapa, of the Immigrant Defense Project, about it.

For his part, Pastor José Urrutia, of the Los Amigos Evangelical Church, has information about a free after-school homework help program, Wednesdays from 3 to 6pm, at 150 Murray Street, for students between 6th and 12th grades. The pastor also spoke of the aid trip to El Salvador that will take place from March 21 to 29. Interested in collaborating, call 845-339-6610.

In addition, I talked about the February issue of La Voz, and about the possibility of imagining the future we want, if we let go of our addiction to technology, as explained by Rob Hopkins in his book From What Is to What If.
