850 Route 28 LLC is proposing the construction of two 120,000-square-foot buildings on the site of a former quarry for the purpose of concrete and steel fabrication. The site is surrounded by the Bluestone Wild Forest, Open Space Institute property, and state park land at Onteora Lake. We sit down with Steve Molloy is a neighbor of the proposed cement and steel fabrication plant, Kathy Nolan is a researcher at Catskill Mountainkeeper and an Ulster County Legislator, and Maxanne Reznick is the executive director of Woodstock Land Conservancy to discuss the process and what's their ask.
